What are Branded Content Ads?
BCA is a way for a brand to boost your organic post. When a creator shares a branded content post or story with their organic audience, they can give a business partner permission to turn that content into an ad. This is an addition to the current Creator Licensing, that makes it easier for brands to set up ad campaigns. It doesn’t change anything for the creator. You will need to add the paid partnership label to your post for the brand so that they can use it as BCA.
What do I need to do in these campaigns? When posting content, please, make sure you add the paid partnership label in the post.
How do I add the paid partnership label? When making a post to Instagram, please click on ‘Advanced > Branded Content Ads’: Click here to see the step-by-step
How do I know if the Creator Licensing campaign has BCA?
You will see the ‘Paid Partnership’ tag in the brief
(To be released soon), you will see a prompt to add paid partnership label in the chat with the brand
How is it different from normal Creator Licensing on Insense?
This does not replace the current creator whitelisting but is an option on top of that to make it easier for the brands to boost your post.
Does it mean the brand will have more control over my account?
No, BCA does not give the brand any additional permissions on top of the current Creator Licensing.
